There Where You Are by Jen Charadia (God's presence, Mary MacKillop)

In 2010 Jen wrote and recorded the album ‘In God and For God’ after being inspired by the writings and lived spirituality of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop. Of all the beautiful songs on the collection this one became the most-used and featured at many of the Mary MacKillop Canonisation events held by the Sisters of St Joseph in Rome and Sydney. Jen's reflections on Mary MacKillop are fully endorsed by the Sisters of St Joseph and have been widely used by facilitators providing retreats and reflection days on Mary MacKillop.

From Jen: "Mary MacKillop who wrote, “There where you are, you will find God.” Her spirituality is one that is worthy of reflection not just on one day of the year but throughout the entire year. The song ‘There Where You Are’ is one you can use with staff, a parent group, and even upper primary students. The song reminds us that God is within each of us and in all of our interactions, actions and stillness wherever we are. It calls us to be and do what we can right where we are because that is where we will find God."
